Seek First The Kingdom Of God
Matt 6:25-34

“God sets us free from the worries of the world so we can seek His kingdom with all our hearts!”

Are you Free?

Let me ask today if you are free from the worries of the world?

You’d probably say – “Are you crazy? Free from the worries of the world? With the economy like it is? With unemployment as high as it is?”

And I’d be the first to agree with you.

But I didn’t ask if you were living on some planet without worries.

I asked if you were “FREE” from them.

It’s not that we don’t have things that are worrisome.

The question I ask is whether we have learned what it means to trust in the Sovereign God enough to escape the slavery of worry to trust and serve God with a joyful heart?

Ouch!

We all know that that’s a constant struggle isn’t it?
