May God give us grace to begin each project with the prayer “Help me Jesus” and to end each one with the ascription of praise “Soli Deo Gloria!” – “Glory to God Alone!” It is only in this way that we can live the Christian Life so wonderfully described in the Heidelberg Catechism. In response to the prayer “Help me Jesus”, the Lord sends helpers. I have listed them here to the best of my recollection. When all is done, however, our common prayer is “Glory to God Alone!”

I, the Editor, would like to thank the following people who have assisted with this work. Please remember that any failings of the project are my responsibility, not theirs. In general they are listed chronologically in the order of assistance rendered!

Rev. Dr. Edwin Elliott for his encouragement, his work as a “Sounding board” for the project, and his help in enlisting assistance.

Rev. Dr. Richard Bacon for his labors in preaching a new series of “Catechism Sermons” during 2009 so aspiring “Catechism Preachers” can “listen and learn” how to implement catechism preaching in their own context.
